Manolis Perrot

I am currently a CNRS postdoctoral reseacher in the OPERA group (formerly MEOM) of Institut des Géosciences de l’Environnement, Grenoble, France. With Bruno Deremble and Hugo Jacquet, we work on oceanic turbulence in the presence of surface waves.

Among various topics, here are my interests and areas of expertise:

Physics and Modeling: Ocean and Atmosphere Turbulence, Subgrid Parameterizations, Convection, Physics-Dynamics Coupling

Maths: Geometric Fluid Dynamics, Deterministic and Stochastic Modeling, Uncertainty Quantification
